Xiaoxing Chen (b. 1999) is a Chinese writer-director from Shenzhen, now based in Brooklyn. Her name means ‘star’ in Mandarin.

A quiet person by nature, she finds strength in subtlety, creating films emphasizing the power of silence and the unspoken.
